Aware Super names leader of new property platform

Aware Super, Australia's third-largest fund, has appointed Michelle McNally to head up its new local property platform, Aware Real Estate, which is being set up in partnership with independent Australian real estate investment manager Altis Property Partners.

The platform, which will oversee Aware Super’s directly owned Australian build-to-rent, industrial and office property portfolio, already has accumulated A$1.5 billion ($1 billion) of high-quality industrial, office and residential assets across Australia, according to InvestorDaily.

McNally brings more than 25 years of experience in property investment to the role, most recently at property fund ISPT, where she held several senior-executive roles.
