Aviva Investors launches real estate long-term asset fund with $2b seed portfolio

Aviva Investors has launched its first fund under the long-term asset fund regime, a new category of fund designed to provide access to long-term private market assets.

The Aviva Investors Real Estate Active LTAF (REALTAF) is the United Kingdom’s largest long-term asset fund launched in the market to date. It consists of a £1.5 billion ($2 billion) seed portfolio of carefully selected direct real estate assets provided by Aviva U.K. Life, enabling a broad range of institutional and professional investors to access real assets investments more easily

Featuring a long-term absolute return target, REALTAF’s strategy will complement Aviva Investors’ “active equity” approach to real estate equity, which focuses on high-conviction locations and emerging themes that are well-placed to deliver long-term value.
