Aviva Investors, the asset manager of Aviva Group, has appointed Duane Green as the firm’s new CEO – Canada and head of Americas Distribution, according to a statement from the firm.
Based in Toronto, Duane will report to Jill Barber, the chief distribution officer of Aviva Investors. He will lead the Canada-based distribution team, manage business development and client relationships.
“I am incredibly excited to be joining Aviva Investors. The business boasts a highly scalable proposition within asset management, offering innovative products and an unparalleled investment capabilities platform across both public and private markets. I look forward to building on the success already achieved in Canada and the wider Americas to take the business to the next level,” Green said in a statement.
Green has 25 years of investment management experience, and he most recently served as president and CEO of Franklin Templeton Canada for seven years.
