New South Wales Government in Australia has approved the $643 million Liverpool Range wind farm, which will power nearly 500,000 homes. It will support NSW’s Renewable Energy Action Plan of reducing greenhouse gases.
The farm, which spans 22.24 miles from north to south and 12.4 miles east to west, will generate almost one gigawatt of power, NSW planning minister Anthony Roberts said in a statement on Tuesday.
