Australia’s AustSafe, Sunsuper merge to create $43.3b superfund

Australian superannuation funds AustSafe Super and Sunsuper have agreed to merge, creating an entity with A$58 billion ($43.3 billion) under management.

The transaction is expected to be completed by April 2019.

AustSafe has more than A$2.4 billion ($1.7 billion) funds under management, while Sunsuper has A$55 billion ($41 billion). ​
