Atrium European Real Estate has sold five retail assets spanning 45,000 square meters (484,375 square feet) in Poland to Metropol Group.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The portfolio consists of the standalone Media Markt building in Gdynia as well as Atrium Olkusz, Atrium Swietochlowice, Atrium Siemianowice and Atrium Gama in Radom, according to Across-Magazine.
Tenants include well known international and national brands such as Bricomarche, OBI, Carrefour, Biedronka, RTV Euro AGD, CCC, Rossmann, Media Expert and Pepco.
“In the real estate market, there are always opportunities,” Amit Mor, CEO of Metropol Group, told Eurobuild. “At the moment, as the market reels from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have found convenience centers in the heart of small cities to be a very attractive investment.”
He added: “We are currently looking for other centers to add to our portfolio.”
