Arminius Group has acquired the Metro headquarters in Düsseldorf for German institutional investors.
The financial terms were not disclosed.
The six adjacent office buildings with a multi-story car park have a compact, campus-based layout and are fully let to Metro company on a long-term basis. The lettable area of the office buildings, which feature very good third-party usability, amounts to 75,521 square meters (812,901 square feet). The car park has more than 1,300 parking units.
The seller of the property, which is situated in the up-and-coming urban district of Grafenberg with good traffic connection to the city center, is Triuvia Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft, now a part of Patrizia. JLL and Rheinwert Immobilienconsulting GmbH ran the disposal process.
“This transaction represents a further important step in implementing our strategy of focusing on investments in German commercial real estate with German institutional partners,” said Christian Molter, co-founder of Arminius Group.
