Ares Management Corp. is planning to end 2024 with a record total gross capital of more than $80 billion, beating its 2021 record of $77 billion, according to a third quarter earnings call that took place on Nov. 1.
Institutional closed-ends funds and campaign funds compose approximately one-third of fundraising, while the other half includes separately managed accounts, public funds, wealth management and Aspida, its insurance affiliate.
Ares’ wealth channels contributed significantly to its Q3 fundraising. “Our solutions offer individual investors core private markets exposure, delivering durable income, diversified equity and tax advantaged real assets to the wealth channel globally,” said Michael Arougheti, president, CEO, co-founder, and director of Ares Management.
