Arcus Infrastructure Partners has acquired a majority interest in FixMap, a Polish fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) business, on behalf of its Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 (AEIF3). Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company’s founder, Piotr Muszynski, retains a minority shareholding in FixMap and will continue to serve as CEO.
Founded in 2018, FixMap has grown through an ongoing buy-and-build strategy and now operates through 20 local subsidiaries, covering approximately 270,000 homes passed with around 100,000 homes connected across Poland. FixMap’s subsidiaries include network operators and active retail and wholesale internet service providers.
FixMap’s networks are primarily located in semirural areas of Poland where population and housing density is relatively low and there are limited high-speed broadband alternatives.
