E-Fiber, a network manager specializing in the construction of fiber optic networks in the Netherlands, has agreed to break ground on a new fiber network in the Dutch municipality of Hoeksche Waard.
This marks the 17th regional project for E-Fiber, as the firm continues to roll out its fast fiber optic network to towns and areas across the Netherlands, according to a LinkedIn post from Arcus Infrastructure Partners. In May 2018, Arcus acquired a significant majority equity interest in E-Fiber.
Following the roll-out, Arcus said, Hoeksche Waard, a largely rural municipality, will benefit from increased connection speeds that are served by E-Fiber’s energy-efficient fiber network.
