Aquila Capital is seeking to raise £150 million ($209 million) in an IPO, listing the Aquila Energy Efficiency Trust on the London Stock Exchange.
Aquila has already identified a pipeline of some €210 million ($293 million) energy-efficient assets, including energy-efficient lighting; smart building and metering services; cogeneration plants; and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, according to Investment Week.
The trust will also invest in solar photovoltaic plants, batteries and other energy storage solutions and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, notes Renewables Now.
