Aquila Capital collects €200m for infrastructure fund

Aquila Capital has raised more than €200 million ($216 million) for its infrastructure fund, ACIF.

Launched in 2017, the Aquila Capital Infrastructure Fund focuses its investments on core and core-plus investments in OECD countries. Its portfolio currently consists of more than 180 individual investments in the transport and traffic, utilities, energy, telecommunications and social infrastructure sectors throughout 17 countries.

The fund has a broad German and international investor base that includes credit institutions, insurance companies, pension funds and schemes, as well as foundations. ACIF comprises two separate fund vehicles in Germany and Luxembourg.
