Antin Infrastructure Partners has entered into exclusive negotiations with the Korian group, a European care group for the elderly, for the sale of Inicea, the largest independent French operator in the private psychiatry sector.
Inicea owns a portfolio of 19 establishments, which has increased from 10 over the past four years. The expansion process was achieved through the creation of six day hospitals and the acquisition of three clinics.
“We are convinced that, with the help and expertise of Korian’s teams, we will enter a new phase in our development by implementing an ambitious and innovative project in response to the growing needs in the treatment of mental illness,” said Pierre Forest, CEO of Inicea.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
