Ancala, an independent infrastructure manager, has expanded its asset management team through the appointment of Frederick Pierru as a director.
Pierru, who has more than 25 years of experience working in the infrastructure and energy sectors, will work closely with portfolio company management teams and help apply the firm’s proactive value-creation strategy to its growing portfolio of critical infrastructure businesses.
Pierru’s experience includes working within operational and supply-chain management positions, as well as consulting. He most recently served as CEO of Marverde Infraestructura, a KKR-backed company specializing in the sale-leaseback of energy infrastructure assets, for seven years. At Marverde Infraestructura, Pierru supervised all aspects of the business, including setup, project finance, legal, tax and accounting management, and compliance.
