AMP Capital has added two to its infrastructure debt team, the firm announced Oct. 10. Oliver Heinen and Eddy Frances will join the firm as associates, operating out of the London and New York City offices, respectively.
Heinen will report to Emma Haight-Cheng, and Frances will work under Patrick Trears.
“We are seeing great demand from investors in our infrastructure debt strategy and have made significant deployments this year,” said Andrew Jones, global head of infrastructure debt. “We are delighted to welcome our new associates as we strengthen and grow the global team, allowing us to continue to find highly attractive investment opportunities on behalf of our clients.”
Heinen joins the firm from CIBC Capital Markets, where he worked as an analyst focusing on project and acquisition finance in the infrastructure sector, according to his LinkedIn page. Prior to that, he served as an associate analyst of public, project and infrastructure finance at Moody’s Investors Service.
Heinen earned his BS in economics from the University of East Anglia and MS in economics and management from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Frances joins AMP Capital from Citigroup, where he worked as first a rotation analyst and then an investment banking associate, focusing on project and infrastructure finance. Specifically, he structured, analyzed and underwrote project finance credit transactions in the transportation, power, energy and midstream sectors across the Americas, according to AMP Capital. Prior to that, he worked as a summer analyst for The Libra Group in New York City.
Frances holds a BA in economics and international studies from Boston College.
With the new hires, AMP Capital’s infrastructure debt team now comprises 16 people located in London, New York City and Sydney.
