Alternative aren’t only for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, said Brendan White, investment strategist at Janiczek Wealth Management, in a recent interview with Emily Douglas for InvestmentNews.
White points to the democratization of alternative investments, as opportunities to enter the space have been made more accessible to the everyday investor through vehicles such as fund to funds and interval funds and via smaller minimums.
Helping clients understand the value of alternative investments is important, White said, and he seeks to do that through an education approach that shows how alternative can diversify and lessen the risk of a portfolio.
