Alba Infra Partners, Mirova and Caisse des dépôts et consignations (CDC) have announced the creation of two investment platforms dedicated to decarbonizing mobility in Europe and France, specifically, and committed €350 million ($398 million) to the initiative.
The platforms — Neot e-motion and Neot e-motion France — were launched by Neot Capital, a company backed by Forsee Power, Mitsui & Co. and EDF. Neot e-motion seeks to finance as-a-service low-carbon solutions for vehicles and infrastructure such as buses, coaches, trucks, vessels and charging stations throughout Europe. Neot e-motion France is the platform’s dedicated entity that will specifically address the French market with the support of Banque des Territoires.
With €500 million ($568 million) in equity now under management across its platforms, Neot has a total financing capacity of nearly €2 billion ($2.3 billion) in assets, enabling the removal of investment barriers and technological c
