Despite turmoil in the market caused by the COVID-19 crisis, Alaska Permanent Fund outperformed its benchmark and recorded a 2.01 percent return for fiscal year 2020.
According to a fund report released Aug. 3, Alaska Permanent also showed favorable performance against the passive and performance benchmarks in the three- and five-year period.
“We are pleased to see our returns end in positive territory,” commented Angela Rodell, Alaska Permanent Fund Corp. CEO. “I think it highlights just how important it is to maintain discipline in volatile times. We held on to our core convictions and never lost sight of our long-term mandate.”
