Alaska Future Fund backs NorthLink Aviation

The Alaska Future Fund, managed by Barings, has made an investment in NorthLink Aviation. Financial terms were not disclosed.

NorthLink is developing a world-class air cargo terminal at the south campus of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). The company has signed a 55-year lease on a 120-acre property at ANC.

NorthLink said it is focused on developing the terminal in a way that positively impacts Alaska and the Anchorage community, which includes working with Anchorage-based firms.

“We are excited to partner with Tiger Infrastructure Partners and NorthLink to help expand the air cargo infrastructure at ANC,” said Mina Pacheco Nazemi, managing director of the Alaska Future Fund at Barings. “Air cargo and ANC account for a large segment of the Alaskan economy, and we are pleased that all Alaskans will benefit from this investment.”
