Recently, there has been in increase in capital allocations to affordable housing, especially from institutions, and one of the reasons is that institutions are realizing there is a definitive need for and a lack of affordable housing in high-cost areas in the United States.
“Affordable housing provides durable, sustainable cashflow in a market where you would may be a bit worried late cycle,” said John Williams, CIO and president at Avanath Capital Management. “What Avanath does to provide impact investments to our investors is a number of things.
