AEW executive managing director Pamela Herbst retires after 45-year career in CRE investing

AEW Capital Management announced that executive managing director Pamela Herbst retired from AEW at year-end after an accomplished career that has spanned nearly 43 years, including 26 years at AEW.

In recognition of her vast contributions to the firm and the industry, AEW has created the Pamela Strout Herbst Legacy Scholarship at University of Massachusetts Boston, her alma mater. The permanent scholarship will support full-time undergraduate students who desire to pursue a career in economics, investment management and commercial real estate and also demonstrate a commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in business.
