Passco Cos. has acquired The Atworth at Mellody Farm in Vernon Hills, Ill., a northern suburb of Chicago. The purchase price was undisclosed.
A venture between AEW Capital Management, Focus and Atlantic Residential was the seller.
The 260-unit resort-style multifamily community was developed in 2018 on seven acres. Amenities include The Conservatory, a two-story lounge with complimentary coffee, Wi-Fi, computer and televisions; The Courtyard, which features a pool and sundeck; The Game Loft, home to billiards, shuffle board, table tennis and foosball; and The Tasting Room, which features seating arrangements for casual or formal events. Also, a bike room, fitness center, yoga room and pet grooming stations are located on site.
In a separate deal, Passco Cos. sold the Silver City Plaza, a retail center situated on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip. Regal Acquisition acquired the property for $59.2 million. The asset totals 41,583 square feet. Current tenant
