Aedifica adds four care homes in Finland to portfolio

by Kali Persall

Aedifica has invested €16 million ($19 million) in four care homes in Finland. This includes the acquisition of two fully functional care homes in Espoo and Laukaa, as well as the completion of two development projects in Oulu and Kempele.

The properties have a total capacity of 122 residents and four private and nonprofit operators.

All four of the properties provide residential elderly care, with the care home in Laukaa also providing rehabilitation care.

“As part of the Aedifica group, our strategy also includes the acquisition of high-quality fully operational care properties, in addition to our own active project development work,” said Jussi Karjula, CEO of Hoivatilat. “I am pleased with the acquired assets and completed projects, which complement our current portfolio nicely.”
