Rahul Agrawal has been promoted to partner at Actis, a global investor in sustainable infrastructure.
During his nearly 20-year career, Agrawal has worked extensively in infrastructure and energy investing. Based in Singapore, Agrawal was previously energy director for Southeast Asia (SEA) at Actis. According to the firm, he has driven growth and innovation across the energy sector in SEA for the past five years, playing an instrumental role in three major energy investments. These include: Levanta Renewables, a platform targeting 1.5 gigawatts of capacity by 2027 in SEA; Bridgin Power, a gas power platform focused on select geographies in Asia; and MTerra Solar, a first-of-its-kind battery project in the Philippines.
