Actis has launched TERRANOVA, a new hyperscale data center platform in Latin America that will build energy-efficient data centers that meet the rising demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure.
TERRANOVA plans to invest $1.5 billion throughout the next three years to develop a portfolio of modern campuses in Brazil, Mexico and Chile, with additional markets under evaluation. The first site, located in Mexico’s Querétaro area, is scheduled to come online in first quarter 2026, followed by new campuses in Campinas, Brazil, in 2027 and Chile in 2027–2028). The company already has secured land and power in strategic locations across the region, representing the potential to deploy up to 1 gigawatt of data center capacity in the future.
