Bryan Moore has been appointed CIO of the South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission (RSIC). Moore assumed the interim CIO position after Geoff Berg departed the fund earlier this year.
“During this interim period, Moore has established himself as the investment team’s leader and firmly set his vision for managing the portfolio,” said South Carolina Retirement Investment Commission CEO Michael Hitchcock in a statement. “Moore was an instrumental partner in the development and implementation of the significant portfolio changes we made over the past five years, and I have full faith and confidence in his ability to lead the investment team far into the future.”
