Proinversión, the private investment promotion agency of Peru is planning to award $132 million of public-private partnership (P3) transmission line projects in Peru, according to InfraPPP.
The Cáclic to Jaén Norte transmission line P3 project and the Ica to Poroma transmission line P3 project in Peru are expected to meet the electricity demand in the departments of Ica, Amazonas and Cajamarca and provide quality electricity to more than 370,000 people in the three regions.
Bidders will provide quality infrastructure and utilities to the projects for a concession term of 30 years for each project. The concessionaire will be responsible for design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance.
