The CCR Group has signed a $1.3 billion road concession contract in Brazil, according to InfraPPP. This is reportedly the first project CCR Group has won in the state of Santa Catarina.

The CCR Group is responsible for managing 3,284 kilometers (2,040 miles) of highways in the Brazilian states of Mato Grosso do Sul, Parana, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

With the new concession contract, CCR Group will provide highway maintenance, operation and monitoring over a 30-year period. The project includes the development of 220.4-kilometer (136-mile) highway connecting Paulo Lopes to Sao Joao do Sul in the state of Santa Catarina. The highway will have four toll plazas, and the road corridor will cross 17 municipalities in Santa Catarina.

The concession also includes 18 pedestrian bridges, 42 new returns, improvements and the expansion of 31 accesses, and 25 new bus stops.

CCR Group has established itself as one of the largest companies in Latin America
