DTE Midstream acquires Louisiana midstream assets

DTE Midstream, a non-utility business of DTE Energy, has agreed to acquire a gathering system and gathering pipeline in the Haynesville shale formation of Louisiana for $2.25 billion in cash, plus a $400 million milestone payment upon completion of the gathering pipeline in second half 2020.

Sempra Energy to sell Chilean business to Chinese company

Sempra Energy has agreed to sell another of its South American businesses to a Chinese company. The San Diego–based firm is planning to sell its Chilean business to China’s State Grid International Development (SGID) in a $2.23 billion all-cash deal, the company reported on Oct. 14.

KKR buys U.K. broadband provider

KKR has purchased a majority stake in Hyperoptic, the largest residential gigabit broadband provider in the United Kingdom, from funds managed by Newlight Partners and Mubadala Investment Co.
