The School Employees Retirement System (SERS) of Ohio has approved a $15 million investment in Digital Bridge Partners II DG Towers Co-Investment, an infrastructure strategy within the real assets portfolio.
The investment will be funded from cash reserves, according to a board meeting report from November.
For SERS’ first quarter, the portfolio was overweight in real assets by 4 percent, which added 30 basis points of value, and in opportunistic by 4.6 percent, which was flat to the benchmark. Due in great part to this asset allocation, the total fund outperformed the benchmark by 3.3 percent net of fees for the one-year period.
