Columbia Threadneedle announces real estate leadership transition

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has announced the planned transition of its U.K. real estate leadership team, with the retirements of John Willcock, team head, and Chris Morrogh, director and fund manager, over the next six months.

The transition will see Joseph Vullo promoted to head of U.K. real estate and James Rigg to CIO, U.K. real estate, both reporting to Nick Ring, CEO EMEA.

Both Vullo and Rigg have been with the firm for more than 20 years and have been part of the real estate senior management team for several years.

In addition to the above changes, Columbia Threadneedle has reviewed its approach to its retail and institutional real estate franchises, to further embed a strong focus and specialization on the needs of clients in these two channels.
