Two Chinese investors invest in England

In separate deals, two Chinese investors have made deals in England’s property markets.

China Vanke acquired 70,000-square-foot Ryder Court in Mayfair, Central London, for £115 million ($153 million). The seller was Henderson Global Investors.

The acquisition represents China Vanke’s second investment in London. In October 2015, China Vanke paid £30 million ($40 million) for a 20 percent stake in a  £880 million ($1.17 million) London mixed-use project, The Stage.  The seller was a consortium of investors including Cain Hoy Enterprises, McCourt Global, Galliard Homes and Investec Structured Property Finance.
