The Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System is searching for a general investment consultant.
In addition to advising TCRS, the consultant will advise four other funds: the Chairs of Excellence, the Baccalaureate Education System Trust, the State Pooled Investment Fund and the Optional Retirement Program. TCRS oversees pension benefits for public school teachers, higher education employees, state employees and local government employees.
The $44 billion pension fund’s current consultant, Strategic Investment Solutions, whose contract is up at the end of this year, is invited to rebid.
An RFP was issued Aug. 25; it is available on the state’s website. Proposals are due Sept. 24.
