SFERS commits £40m to real estate

The San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System has committed £40 million ($60 million) to Brockton Capital Fund III, according to recent meeting documents.

The fund is seeking £800 million ($1.2 billion) and will target investments in the United Kingdom, focusing mainly on London. The California State Teachers’ Retirement System and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas both recently invested in the fund.
