Recent commercial real estate transactions

Below is a sampling of recent property transactions tracked by Real Capital Analytics. The largest transactions were an apartment building in Manhattan and an office property in Washington, D.C.

Madison Realty Capital and USAA Real Estate Co. formed a joint venture to purchase The Buchanan, an apartment building located at 160 E. 48th St. in Midtown Manhattan.

And in Washington, D.C., Carr Propertie and Alony Hetz bought the 417,273-square-foot office building at 1615 L St. for $229 million. The seller was Spitzer Enterprises.
