Recent commercial real estate acquisitions

Below is a sampling of recent property transactions tracked by Real Capital Analytics (RCA). The largest completed transactions included office properties in New York City and Chicago.

Condominium developer Magnum Real Estate Group has purchased a portion of Verizon Communication's 140 West St. building in New York City for $274 million. Magnum bought the top 21 stories in the 31-story, 1.8 million-square-foot downtown building.

In Chicago, Tishman Speyer has sold One North Franklin, a 617,000-square-foot office building, to MetLife for $182 million.
