Meadow Partners nears final close for second fund

Meadow Partners plans to hold a final close for Meadow Real Estate Fund II on April 15, 2013. The opportunistic fund was launched in July 2012 with a fundraising goal of $400 million and will invest in all real estate sectors in the markets of New York City and London.

The firm’s debut fund, Meadow Real Estate Fund I, closed in July 2009 with $235 million in equity commitments and fully invested.

Meadow Partners was founded in 2009 by Jeffrey Kaplan, J. Andrew McDaniel and Timothy Yantz. The firm has been responsible for the acquisition and ongoing asset management of $23 billion of real estate assets located in the United States, Europe and Asia through more than 200 separate transactions.
