Mapletree Investments has held a final close for its Mapletree Japan Office fund, raising ¥65 billion ($543.1 million), according to according to IREI’s FundTracker database.
The fund will target business-related properties including data centers, R&D facilities and office buildings just outside central Tokyo and other major cities in Japan.
The final close follows many other final closes reaching or exceeding targets during the first quarter 2015.
The Blackstone Group’s Blackstone Real Estate Partners VIII, the largest real estate fund ever, is on track to close with $15.8 billion in equity, exceeding its $13 billion target.
