La Française Forum launches U.K. shopping center fund

La Française Forum Real Estate Partners, the European direct real estate arm of the La Française – Forum platform, has launched a U.K. Shopping Centre Fund with specialist retail asset manager Realm.

The fund, which is LFF Real Estate Partners’ second retail fund, is targeted to reach £400 million to £500 million ($653 million to $817 million) of assets during a three-year investment period and will target core-plus assets with a lot size of £35 million to £100 million ($57 million to $163 million).

The firm currently co-manages the Pan European Retail Fund, a joint venture with Aberdeen Asset Management that focuses on continental Europe, with total equity commitments of €160 million ($205 million) from five institutional investors. PURetail invests in urban high-street retail and has assets across its three target markets of Germany, France and Sweden.
