CBRE Global Investors holds $1.1 billion final close

CBRE Global Investors has held a final closing of CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 6, withequity commitments of nearly $1.1 billion, exceeding its $750 million fundraising goal. The fund is expected to have $2.7 billion buying power. Approximately 22 institutional investors in the United States and Europe invested in the value-added fund. Recent investors reported by IREN include the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, which made a $30 million investment in November 2012; the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System, which made a $40 million commitment in May 2012; and the San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System, which made a $20 million commitment in July 2012.
