Cantor launches value-added/opportunistic fund

Cantor Fund Management has a second fund in the market, according to IREI’s FundTracker database.

Cantor Private Real Estate Income & Growth Fund II aims to raise $100 million. The fund will invest with a value-added/opportunistic strategy in U.S. real estate properties, including the acquisition of CMBS and distressed properties.

Cantor is a boutique private equity real estate firm. Cantor Real Estate Income & Opportunity Fund launched in 2012; the fund invested and repositioned various distressed properties in primary markets. Assets included the Silverthorn Square in Tampa, Fla.; Largo Square in Largo, Fla.; Brighton Pavilions in Denver; and Shoppes at Wells Road in Jacksonville, Fla.
